Thanks for the compliment! I'm kinda ticked at myself for doing this to my favorite bots. I swear was just trying to take a crack at decent smut. Looks like I went for a two-fer. x_x I keep wanting to do some sort of follow-up to make it happier, but I think doing that would ruin this piece somehow. I dunno. *pokes at fic*

Fics like this make me want to write a one-shot where the war is over, and Prowl is alive and Ratchet and Ironhide and every other damn Autobot that died, leaving behind someone they loved.
God, I'm mad at the writers now..... Not you! You did this wonderfully. I mean the people who decided it'd be fun to mess with romantic relationships.
I mean, God, this makes me hate war! Grr! I already do!

This was so beautifully done, so full of emotion and passionate yet so sad at the same time. Makes you feel for them and I do like you present their after glow as friendly banter and that pinch of light heartedness in the precious reprive.

Thank you! I kinda wandered into this blind, so I'm glad I was able to make it work properly. I'm a sucker for banter, and couldn't quite keep it out. Besides, they totally deserved a moment or two out of the rest of the angst fest. Banter is good for that, and I am apparently incapable of not throwing in a bit of snark/humor *somewhere* in my writing.

(See, I *knew* I was going to forget and do something stupid with the actual posting set-up. It's fixed now! ^_^)
