Jazz's protest was so typical of him in this universe. Prowl understanding the underlying reasons for this completely wrong display. Soundwave gaining his symbiotes. Starscream making sense. It's like watching a traffic accident. They can see it coming, but they can't stop it.

Completely off that note, I'm kind of curious who dared break anything with Glyph around. I have this image of Sentinel throwing a temper tantrum....

Yeah...Jazz was already pretty fed up with the system by the time the novels began, and he wasn't exactly a peon, canonically speaking. I have this idea that Prowl being able to ignore emotions to get right to motives of an action are what gets him such a bad rep sometimes.

It's definitely a traffic accident. :(

So, Jazz has the courage to protest (at least a token protest). I imagine that he conducted the most technically correct - yet uninspired - performance ever.

Plenty of plot development - curious to see how it all ends.

Fascinating developments. I really like your Starscream and his relationship with Prowl. Soundwave and the symbiotes was a bittersweet scene, and Jazz's rebellion was awesome. I'm really looking forward to more of this story!

Prowl and Starscream would be awesome if they ever got on the same page. Unfortunately, Prowl's way too suspicious and Starscream too erratic.

Yeah...Soundwave's still capable of compassion right now, and there's nothing like shared misery to bring a group together.
