Ohmygoodness!!!! The end made me cry. You did a wonderful job describing what Prowl is going through at every obstacle that he comes across. At least he has Jazz there to help keep things from being even worse.

Awww....I didn't mean to yank out tears, but I'm glad it impacted the right way?

.......I think that comment officially makes me a horrible person. x__x

And yeah, Jazz is a major life-saver. Probably literally, at that!

Thanks so much for the review!

No, not a horrible person. Just a good writer. You have to be good to bring out the right emotions in your readers.

High praise, indeed! I'm glad you're enjoying it--I was worried it would come across as a crappy angst-fest, but I'm hoping I avoided it. We'll see how well the other parts go ^__^

Oh. My. God.

I'm sitting here with an aching heart, and suddenly terrified.
Because when someone is pushed that far there is no telling what will happen, what they're capable of. And the consequences are huge, the impact deep, and all of it far reaching.

Prowl. Scared for him, scared of what he'll do.

Nailed where I'm headed, you did.

I'm sorry for the heartache though? *has got to shake this angst muse loose*

Wow, I'm dying a little just reading about the agony Prowl was living through - the burning of everything alive in Praxis is the most powerful word image I've ever seen from this part of the war.

He tried so hard, he had all of the plans made, hundreds of them, and yet he watched them fall one by one. And the outcome on his own people was a nightmare beyond anything he could have ever imagined!!! The bit about Jazz standing by him in spite of what a wise man would do, and the last line about the dripping of his own energon...heartbreaking!!!

Amazing and epic piece of fiction you have right here!!

Thanks so much! I hadn't planned to go so dark with Praxus' fate, but I couldn't shake the idea once it struck. I'm in this odd place where I'm glad it's having the impact I want, but still...dangit. x__x

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! Hopefully I can get the next part to come out just as well!

Really really well done. Prowl's rage is palpable and understandably so. It's a good thing Jazz doesn't leave his side I feel.

Wow, thanks! I'm glad I was able to get Prowl's dilemma to come across so well; the muse was not helpful in that regard. And yeah, Jazz is definitely the only thing keeping Prowl from going haywire. But I'm exploring that more in the next part, so I'll shut up now before I spoil things. ^__^
