before you get your heart set on Eli Lilly, look at their employment website and see if they are hiring NOW for the kind of position you are hoping to get. Lilly still has a hiring freeze in place, meaning hiring new employees is rare and a difficult thing to do (the hoops they have to jump through to post an external job opening are TERRIBLY complex and difficult to push/jump through). Any time a job opens up they try to fill it within the company, having a current employee change their job (internal posting is the term they use) rather than hiring someone new. I would hate to see you go to school on the idea of "I'll get hired permanently at Lilly when I'm done" and have that not work out
