(On a more serious note...I LOVE that Bryan Fuller used that piece of Hannibal music. I was spoiled for it because in an interview he mentioned he was going to use music from Hannibal and I was just like "OOOHHH NOOO...THE SHIPPERS WILL ALL DIE IF YOU USE THAT ONE", but I was still pleasantly surprised that he did...in the ending scene, no less!)
Hannibal is such an unmitigated fucker, magnificent bastard, etc., etc., but it will be absolutely delicious (pun intended), when he ends up on the opposite side of the bars after Will turns the tables on him.
Just that the Hannibal/Will shippers would realize that the opera was in relation to the romantic subtext in Hannibal (the movie) between Hannibal/Clarice, but now it's being used in relation to Hannibal/Will. In other words, there IS romantic subtext in Hannibal the TV series between Hannibal/Will.
