What a beautiful, beautiful man. Like a fine, fine wine.
Funny thing - I saw a play this past weekend, The History of Invulnerability, that was about Jerry Siegel's creation of Superman and the psychology that went into it, his identity as an American Jew during the 1930s/40s, and his struggle to be recognized as Superman's creator after being royally screwed by DC comics. It was basically build around two leads, with an actor playing Siegel, and an actor playing his "son," Superman, who leads him through the story in a "where did I come from" structure. And the guy playing Superman was good, but... just a guy in a Superman suit. My standards have been raised so, so high. :-)
