I write about love quite often, because it does make up a lot of what I think and feel. I've even tried to understand love. Lately, I've come to realise that I will never understand it ( Read more... )

My friend, you endured more in you short stay with us than most will in a lifetime. I just wrote a letter to your parents, like most of us did saying how great of a person you were. But I wanted to tell you too. You never ceased to amaze me. Everything you touched, worked. Except for your car, but I am sure it ran better than if any of us would have had it. I still can't believe that you're gone, it's just not fair. But everything happens for a reason, and you are in a far better place now. I guess I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being who you were, and for brightening every day that we all spent with you here on CSH.

What can i say? My very first college roommate. It was an interesting road man. I'm typing this during class, i figured it was best, seeing how while we lived together you never attended class.
When one says his life is perfect, many choose not to believe him, and for good reason. Nobody gets a perfect life. Perfection comes in death. I know you are an atheist, but I'm not, and i believe that God has you now. But I believe you made your life perfect; because, when a man has reached perfection what more need he accomplish? Your challenges were layed before you, and you destroyed them. God needed no more proof that you should be in His kingdom.

Enough religious talk, i know that's not your way. I'll always remember you, as will so many others. It's cliche, but true. I leave you with this blessing. Though you aren't Irish, we all drank like we were...

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the Wind be always with you,
May the sunshine warm you always,
Until we meet again.

I didn't know you, but have a good one. Maybe there's a special place for RITers up there. Adios.
