Project Body Art
Well, I got my tetanus injection and the first Hep B one. But as I'm a resonable woman, I'll wait til I got my second Hep B shot before I let anybody poke through my ears with sharp objects. =) No new holes before the 27th. So it's status quo for my left ear - with my current favourite jewellry, the common silver rings you see on every other girl:
My right ear, though had to go through a little torture yesterday. It got stretched to 2,5 mm and plugged like that. Which was significantly less painful than the last the stretch to 1,6mm, much to my pleasant surprise. It still felt a little odd by the time I went to bed - but no pain at all left! Now it looks like this:
So yes, stretching might look scary. But I find that it's actually much easier and far less painful than getting pierced. A lot of my loved ones still don't really approve, but well, what shall they do? My body, my choice. I've always been of the rather stubborn kind. =)
In other news - I got round to drawing the first (very, VERY rough) sketches for
spn_cinema! It was a rather sneaky excuse to re-watch Fight Club for what feels like the thirtieth time, but oh well. I love that movie! So much witty dialogue, so many quote-worthy anarchistic lines. *loves on Chuck Palahniuk*
Well, I then used the wonderfully free Sunday to sit on my balcony and let the spring sun pre-burn my alabaster skin while sketching Dean as Tyler and Sam on the ground as the nameless/Jack in an impossible pose. It's called challenge, right? But hey, now I only need to do a more elaborate sketch for first submission. GO ME! It's four days to the deadline for the drafts, HOLY FUCK WHERE DID THE TIME GO! *hangs head* I don't even want think of the fact that I still need to draw it all neatly. I'm such a slow artist! I feel like I'll fail spectacularly and won't get it finished in time.
In conclusion: Wah!
