Blame It on the Alcohol

Alcoholism runs through my family's veins. It's in our DNA. Nearly every male in my family has struggled with the disease at some point. I have uncles who have spent their entire lives in a drunken stupor, never able to keep a job because they can't recover from their seemingly never-ending hangover. Wow. What a holiday downer indeed. In my Thanksgiving, I usually yearn for the assistance of alcohol. Lol. But my family isn't the confrontational kind. Just the incredibly awkward to be around kind.

Really, I don't care too much about pot, but in my experience, it tends to be like alcohol in that people who become dependent or use it too much are pretty annoying to be around. I've never really known any mean drunks though. Just incredibly stupid ones.

Where in SC do you live?

Liquor isn't meant to be tasted, that's why people mix the crap or chug it so that the olfactory nerve doesn't taste.

Beer & wine, however, are a different story. There is good beer, and there is bad beer. The good beer taste better than the bad beer, and you can discover this readily. (same holds true for wine).

Meh I only really do white wine because its sweet. Otherwise...I don't like wine.

The reason marijuana is illegal is racist in origin. It used to be legal (or at the very least, did not have any status in the laws) but then the racist politicians at the time wanted to keep the "spics and niggers" from being able to have marijuana...and then stuff happened (see Pineapple Express).

Ok, the last part is a joke. The first part, not so much.
