My mother's surgery went well. The cancer was still contained within the inner walls of her uterus and not as far along as initially feared. The doctor said that if the cancer is going to reappear elsewhere in the body that it usually happens within the first three years. My mother will have regular check-ups during that period of time. You know, I was thinking about you these past couple of days and considered shooting you an email. Just to update on the project and get your opinion on writing related things, but then I remembered about your mom and figured you probably had bigger things to think about. I was going to email you to see how you were doing before I saw this post. I'm glad your mom is well and crossing my fingers that she remains so.
