Fuck all you haters. That's about all I have to say on the matter. Finale was awesome and completely fitting. This show wasn't about a turf war, whackings, etc. etc, it was a freakin drama about a crime boss' family life. First two seasons were all about Tony's relationship with his mother and how he dealt with it (Dr. Melfi). It didn't just change ( Read more... )

It could have easily been his daughter approaching the table that made him look up. That was the first time we saw the alledged assassin so he may have just been coming out of the bathroom, like background noise. I do think it was a cheap shot ending it like that tho,k with very few clues. They did the same thing to Carnivale.

The feel of the mood with Journey playing, neighborhood eatery, his family reunited, I think he beat the odds, they lived happily ever after. That shit does happen ya know.... the one in a million who got away with it all and survived. Ive seen it happen.

IIn liked the episode, it wasnt a cliche finale where everything is wrapped up nice and neat. Though I would have liked that I can also see not doing it. This way comes off more real like they are just people and their lives keep going on as usual even when the cameras arent around. The whole final 10 minutes was great cause it just made your mind wander and the final black cut just left it open to the imagination to figure out what happened. The fact is that no matter how it ended people would have bitch cause everyone has their own ideas on what they want to happen cause there were so many ways to end the show. So in the end David Chase had to go with what he felt for these characters he created, and I respect that. Though I think the final cut to black was kind of a dick move cause I thought Adams Tivo messed up.
