Tifa turned the lock on the main doors of the bar. She sighed and looked around, making sure she didn't forget something before she headed to bed. Walking over to the kitchen, she made sure the fire was dim and all of the dishes were done.
Tucking a piece of brown hair behind her ear, Tifa headed upstairs. Covering her mouth with a hand, she yawned silently. Business had been good tonight, and she had been on her feet all afternoon. The silence had begun to slowly wear her down.
Walking to Marlene's room, she opened the door softly, to make sure the girl was sleeping safely. Tifa walked inside and walked over to the bed. She watched Marlene sleep, for a moment, before she kissed her fingertips and placed them on the girl's cheek.
Closing the door behind her, Tifa decided to find Cloud. She hadn't seen him all night. She wondered what he was up to. Tifa could only guess he was wrapped up in his new job, arranging jobs for the next day. She was glad he was doing something to occupy his time, but she hoped that he was happy. A dim light caught Tifa's attention and she walked over to one of the other rooms, knocking softly.
"Can I come in?" she asked.
