For the first time all season I feel excited about the show. Nay, I feel abso-fucking-lutely ecstatic. The last five minutes of the show had me breathing erratically. I actually CARED about the characters! Suddenly Veronica running down the hallway MATTERED to me in a way it didn't in the beginning of the episode because I've been so apathetic towards this show lately. But the last five minutes made me fall in love with VM all over again (even though the crime was solved way before the end of the season, what's up with that?). I never even contemplated the rapist having a partner, let alone Moe! I found their sub/Dom relationship interesting. Parker actually DID something to earn being in the credits! Logan purposefully getting thrown into that prison cell said to me HE STILL LOVES VERONICA AND THEY ARE GETTING BACK TOGETHER *nods*. Daddy Mars finding the twosome and pulling a gun, hell yes. Death! Intrigue! Mac's glitterless halter top! Of course the show goes on hiatus just when I start regaining my interest in it...
Little Questions:
- Where the hell was Sheriff Lamb? They spoke about him at least twice, both times his presence would have been more natural then the exposition... Was the actor unavailable?
- I get why eggs is in the title of the episode, but why spit? Is it simply a reference to Veronica's cup full of Madison's spit and GHB from season 1? What happened to the playful pun titles? Or am I just not getting this one?
- What's up with the sidestory about Veronica's TA and his newly ex-girlfriend? Why should I care? Did I miss something--like him and their relationship becoming important?
- Why weren't we allowed to see Dick's full moon? And don't give me that censorship garbage. I demand an unrated viewing of this episode ;)
- And last but not least, who the hell was that guy who talked/threatened the Dean into reinstating the fraternities? That flew over my head...I should go scan
your guys' posts. Y'all always notice stuff that I let float on by. Sometimes I'm just here for the pretty ;)
Points of Interest
- I love that Logan wasn't the one to save the day. I was getting a little tired of seeing him on his white horse saving poor little Veronica. Way to go, Parker, the newly empowered. Hopefully now your character will grow a personality.
- I quite enjoyed Piz coming in late to the Veronica-and-Logan-broke-up conversation. Also his dancing was superb. A+ I just might want him to date Veronica for awhile (but then it's back to Logan, pronto).
- Oh poor Weevil, you made a friend in the dean and now you'll probably get blamed for his death...hopefully you'll get to bunk with Logan in prison *winkwink nudgenudge* (see icon)
- AND EVERYTHING ELSE, like the drug-testing coasters, the fake IDs, the dean's visit to Piz's radio show, the ultra-womanist who hoisted the girl over her shoulder, ET ALL.
