Helen vs. XF2?

According to GAWS, Gillian recently dropped out of "Helen".

"Unfortunately, Gillian is no longer attached to the film "Helen" due to a conflict in schedules.

She had to make a very difficult decision but the project remains close to her heart and she wishes it well."
An earlier article, also published on the site, mentioned "a German co-production

I'm so not trying to burst bubbles, but there is speculation that she might have dropped out to do something else, because in a recent interview, DD said that he hadn't even see a scrip yet, so there may be another unconfirmed project apart from XF2 in the works...who knows

I'm not believing anything anyways, so don't worry about any bubbles ;), being the dutiful mod I just wanted to get the news out.

Thanks for the info though, I hadn't known about a new DD-interview. This is just what I had expected after all this "I'm going to see a script next week"-buzz. Uh hu. Sure.

Let's just say this. Gillian was on the books to be doing 3 new films, NOT including XF. One, she's already begun, one doesn't start till next spring. Helen was supposed to be her shot for the winter. Maybe Chris finished the script right away and said, "okay, let's do this." And since Gillian has a certain love for the character, she's giving up one thing to do another for all the fans who've stuck by and waited... and waited...... and waited.......

See why we love her so?!? Goodness.

I won't get too excited, but I am most definitely making it for the full-fledged premiere this time around. For sure.

Well, it's not said that she dropped out because of XF2. That's just a speculation.

That's a shame, I was really looking forward to "Helen" (before the XF2 rumours started up again), it seemed to be one of the best films she'd signed on to do.
