Why do I always do this to myself.
So noticing today that BTW is just a month and a half away, suddenly the list of "half a dozen or so minor details" that I need to get done looks much more imposing than it did before.

except this isn't like a contract with a publisher. If I let this deadline whoosh by I'll find myself in the woods with nothing but a sponge and an expired handful of C-rations.
In truth I'm 85% prepared, but the last 15 is always gets me the most nervous.
