What's the best way to grieve an acquanitance? Cry until his closer friends stop crying? Or say nothing, and attempt, quietly, to understand what they miss most.

I am sorry, sorry for the people I love, and his three kids.

Just don't force the sadness, even if you feel sorry. I don't think you'd do that, though. It's just so frustrating because I've seen so many who will, and I feel insulted when I see it.

His cat Oscar will come to you in the night to reward your sorrows and your sympathies. I'm sure of it.

It really is just that he was such a good guy, on a great and general, there-will-be-an-absence scale, and that the people I do love are hurting, that's what makes me sad.

His cat's name is Oscar? After a famous Oscar?

He really was a good guy, and I love him dearly. It's so funny- after community there was an air of pure grief and then the rest of the day went on, abrasive and noisy. I don't know what people are feeling.

You know, we aren't really sure if it was Oscar, but it sounds familiar... you'd have to ask Mona about it.
