Aaaand we're back, muffins! (Shut up, I miss Sookie.) Hopefully for a good solid run.

--> So, obviously this is a Lorelai/Emily episode. I'm curious about how you all feel about that: for me, Emily and Lorelai's interactions are one of the very best things about the show, and scenes like the last couple they have in this episode simultaneously fill me with joy and break my heart, but I know not everyone is a huge fan of Emily's.

--> Construction at Luke's! Silly subplot to keep him in the episode, but it bears mentioning. And semi-segues into...

--> Rory and her Triangle o' Love & Angst. Or something. The umbrella, the care package "from Luke," the fight with Dean. Subtlety about just where all this is going has pretty much been thrown to the winds at this point. Again, thoughts? Dean or Jess? Do these shenanigans really make any of them look good?

--> Paris, though! This is also a Paris/Rory episode, to an extent; their friendship is arguably the second-most-important relationship explored.

--> Related question. Paris/Jess: best crack ship or best crack ship? I very much wish they'd had more scenes together in the series.

--> Rory's Dream Night Alone: yay or nay? (Not gonna lie, I'm probably in the Rory camp of snuggling up and eating alone.)

--> So, Lorelai and Emily. Spa activities and vicious trollops and foxy older men and meltdowns and heart-to-hearts and robe-stealing. Let's talk.

--> P.S., we get to see Kelly Bishop the Dancer! WIN.
