"Well, I think Crazy would like it if I ask for yer permission ‘fore I ask her. ‘Course, I don’t really need yer permission as I’ll be askin’ her anyways...so long as you don’t throw me out the airlock. Though, I’d rather ya shoot me."
"Permission for what, Jayne?"
"To marry her."
*clunk BANG*
"Uh, Mal? Did you jus’ faint?"
