Let's start with the important stuff - Go England in the rugby! I don't know if I can bear to watch the final; trying to tweak a fic, and watch the semi with one petrified eye on the screen was an absolute nightmare. Not least because I've now made myself sound like Mad-Eye, lol ( Read more... )

Well done on the fic! I read it last night, and it's great. :)

And congrats on England being in the final. Important sports events make me behave like normal people do while watching scary movies - I'll hide behind a pillow or make up important errands in the kitchen, but I still can't really stay away. I wish you good luck for the final. (Who are you playing?)

Thank you. :) You definitely get the first Firewhiskey for making it to the other end as I'm a bit OMG! about this fic, as you can probably tell, lol.

I'm just the same with nail-biting sports stuff. I have to do something else or flit in and out of the room. But if I don't watch, they'll lose and it'll be all my fault!

We're playing South Africa. I suppose it's a great achievement just to get to the final because we so nearly went out early on when we couldn't do anything right, but it would be even nicer if we win. And I could watch the highlights without having to hide.

I read your most excellent fic last night before bed and have not words for the superbness of it, hence the reason I have not yet left a review. Oh sure, words like awesome, brilliant and incredible come to mind but I think they fall far short of just how wonderful Revenant is. I need another read though...or two...just to wrap my thoughts around it. It was awesome! And brilliant!

Oh...and incredible!

Thank you and, really, thank you. I've had a few kittens, cold sweats, and other animals about this one as you can probably tell. You've just completely made my day.:D

And you may need to start seriously thinking about this poster production line. Could be a nice little earner for you... ;)

One of these days when I'm out and about, I'm going to stop in at the local Kinkos and see what they offer in printing options. When I offer prints of my stuff, I'd like to have it done on nice paper with a high end color printer. If the price is reasonable, I'll start with a flist post and see who's up for it. I figure if someone wants one, they can cover the cost of printing and shipping and that'll be good enough for me.

Well, my hand would definitely be raised. I'd still love those other two you did - I've got a space on the wall that would be just perfect for them.

I haven't read any fic posted either! I feel like a bad girl. I have glanced at some of the art though, you know, to see the competition. XD

I've just finished looking at the art ones and people are doing a great job with the prompts there as well. I thought some of the combinations they were faced with were hard, but I am speaking as someone who can only draw stick people and flowers so my options are severely limited anyway. ;)

Are you hoping to get one done by Thursday or are you going to wait for the next round now?

Oh god, I'm not done with mine yet. I hope to get it in before Thursday, its really crappy though... And I think I'm going to do a fic for the next round. That way I can say I did both. :D

England's success in Rugby certainly is exciting but I think you're missing the boat not pimping the fact that your country has won it all at the World Conkers Championship in New Hamptonshire.

Do you think this'll be an Olympic sport soon?

Well, we don't like making other countries feel like failures when measured against our current sporting prowess at such a variety of things. ;) Or to put it another way, we rarely win anything so yay!

Actually this was one event I could possibly have watched on the tele without having to hide behind a cushion, lol.

I found it fascinating just watching the video on CNN. My favorite match up was the guy dressed as the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz going up against a grown-up (and yet still wearing his school uniform) Harry Potter. It just doesn't get much better than that!

LOL. You see it always amazes me when people have this image of the strait-laced Brits when it should be quite obvious we're completely deranged.

Tell me Harry got thrashed...

You wrote all those words in ONE WEEK?? @_@

Yeah but ladybracknell and mrstater could do that in a day, lol. Besides I'm not joking when I say it made my head explode because I'm normally very slow. I now have a lot of admiration for you and other writers who do mystery/suspense - I think my idea was a bit ambitious for a one-shot, to be honest, though I probably learnt more from writing it than any other fic. (Like next time just do the mystery of where Remus has left his quill and avoid the head explosion;))

LOL! I bet they could. XD

I'm slow, too; it feels strange to write so fast, doesn't it? I always feel like I can't have done it properly if it fell out so quickly.

lol Thanks! I have a lot of admiration for you and other writers who do romance so well, and maybe a little envy, too! ;) I'm mediocre at best, and I don't think I'll ever get past that level as far as the genre goes.

I haven't read your fic yet, though I should get to it today. =D But if your fic is anything like mine where I'm attempting to tell the same story 3 different ways at once, I may have to agree with you! LOL

Trust me, romance is very easy in comparison! And I'm not sure writing fast agrees with me, my brain struggles to keep up. ;)

Feel better. :)
