I have to get the train to Newcastle and back on Wednesday, so it is definitely not going to snow. We have underlined it, and therefore it will be so. No snow. No no nooooo snow.
Haven't they got a huge shopping centre? I caught a boat from there once, but I wouldn't advise getting snowed in on that - we've all seen Titanic. ;)
Anyway, it's not going to as I've packed spring wear now. I'll have to have a look at all they did for you at Project Friday on my return, but I hope it brings you a change of luck with Crazy Guy. Like his runs out.
And an early Happy Birthday for that day you share with another celebrity. Hope it's a good one. ♥
I've always wondered why more strange cats don't make their way in through cat flaps. If the cats all got together on this, they could quite possibly take over the world.
Sorry to hear about the PHC. (My homestead is blessed with a toilet that my guy has named Dennis, after Dennis Kucinich -- the never-successful Democratic presidential candidate who never stops running). And I very much hope that Mr Gilpin feels very better, very soon -- being sick on a holiday is absolutely no fun at all.
Here's my spring icon, to stave off that snow. Have a wonderful and restful time!
ETA: Have bookmarked drabble. Will read and enjoy at leisure. :)
My friend left his cat flap on in-only once by mistake. When he came home from work, his kitchen was full of cats. He estimates the number at fifty or so cats, who had all been trapped in his kitchen, all day.
He's quite a big cat and I'm not sure he can actually get in through it, but he was doing a good job of trying. I did shout very loudly at him, which as many will testify is pretty scary, so hopefully that'll put him off - I'm worried this is the one that slashed her ear as she bolts when she sees him as opposed to giving him the Rosie Death Stare. *sighs* My poor dad, catkeeper for the week, already has many pages of notes without adding Look out for fluffy trespassers to them!

*snorts* Both Mr. Gilpin and the toilet seem a little more on form today, though the former made the mistake of saying to me that he felt rather zombie-like. Eventually, I did manage to sympathise.
That's one of my favourite of your icons, so thanks for that and the good wishes. With impeccable timing, Amazon delivered The Spirit Ring today, so I'll have three lots of book thoughts to send at a respectful distance. ;)
There is so much of the incredible about this, I don't actually even know where to start. I love that Tonks and Remus are funny, first and foremost. I snickered through the whole thing - they're great! And there's chemistry between them and that tension that you just *know* everyone else has picked up on too. Tonks is so fabulous I'm not sure I could even explain to you how much I love her here - you really get a sense of the woman who doesn't back down, the auror, really.
You know my unwavering and passionate love for Sirius - and it's fics like these that just make me sigh in remembrance of all my favourite parts of OotP! He's funny and sweet (the unspoken conversation that somehow makes sense between him and Remus is spot on) and his outrage at the end...I really did laugh through this whole thing. You know I've had a pretty crap couple of days and this was like a large slice of chocolate cake when you're starving hungry and about to chew your own arm off :)
Thank you for bringing a huge grin to my face and for snickering as Remus and Tonks, er, pull the wool over everyone's eyes?! (Who knew there were so many knitting jokes in the world?;)) I am incredibly pleased Tonks had such an impact on you as she didn't have much screen time to get across that Remus-fixated tension in the air you could smell, lol.
And, of course, I'm glad you liked Sirius here. I always feel a bit guilty when he ends up playing the unwitting comic stooge as there's so much more to him than that, so it's great to hear you liked the unspoken conversation between him and Remus.
Thanks so much for the kind words. My crap day wasn't even half as bad as yours, but you made mine a lot better.:D
I love scarves, and R/T, so this is wonderful:D As was Sirius' thorough explanation of why the scarves matched, lol. His and hers! I may do this. Or have my knitting mum do this, as it were.
The idea of Molly making matching scarves for Kingsley and Sirius made me laugh like an Azkaban escapee.

Or, if we get snowed in up a very large hill, I'm not coming back till August.

(I've actually been to Newcastle! A friend of mine was at uni there and I went to visit. There were cows hanging around the dormitory tower blocks.)

I definitely think you should get your knitting mum to do this - under strict instruction to get the pairings spot on, of course, lol.
Thanks again for making me grin on a late Saturday evening.:D
Edited because I need a holiday to be able to spell again. Aagh!
