That's what I want to know. Or should I have given that fantasy up already.

Just because you're not feeling it at the moment doesn't mean that it's a fantasy for all. It exists. It just gets kindled differently for everyone.

yes, i agree with 'mr(s) thorne' above me.
i was raised to be some sort of a gentleman. i don't have a set definition for what romance is, but i do care for my girlfriend and treat her well.
i open the door for her, help her out when i'm needed, i'm openly affectionate, ect. she calls me a gentleman too, so i think she likes what i do.
in terms of a definition, i think, can vary, because some women may hate that. for example a stereotypical feminist would hate to feel 'secondary' or 'subordinate' to a man.
so i try to add some old fashioned romance into the new age.

Ok I understand that some people show it differently Mr. Thorne. I remember there was a time when "HE" was always that way. We are starting to get back to it. Maybe I have gone ahead in the race to get back to where we were. But I do understand that "HE" is trying. And I do love him for that. I am impatient though and I know that. It's just really hard.

It's funny I was puttering around and a thought hit me. I thought that My Knight in Shining Armour had ridden off into the dark night. But I was really wrong. I was going over the "Family" problems that I've been having and remembered something that He said to me... He feels offend by what they are doing to me. I asked why... "Because you are my wife and what they do to you, they do to me"... Thanks. His sword is high and he is riding back to defend me.... I love romance!
