i was diagnoised with ventricular tachycardia when i was 17. after a year on beta blockers (which suck ass because it doesn't allow you to be active in any way shape or form...including sex) i went against my doctors advice stopped taking meds and started running and lifting. i had a 10 yr remission which was great but i starting having problems again when i was 27. a year and half ago i ended up in the ER with a resting HR of 241. while being strapped to the defibrillator i re-evaulated my options...death or pills. i was lucky though. i found a drug that allows me to be active. stress tests aren't the most fun things in the world. being strapped to a bunch of wires and being asked to run...uphill...can suck. echocardiograms aren't too bad though. you feel like a dolphine when it's being done.
I'm only going to be living in MI for a few months, so hopefully we can get some 'dogs at yester and some beers and mully's (not necessarily in that order, of course).
