Well, if it makes you feel better (which I'm not sure it will) I never came close to even making regionals because auditions give me such fits of anxiety I'm reduced to not being able to play simple scales. So, at least you can always reassure yourself you've done better than me.

I didnt make regionals in tennis till I was a junior, and I never won a match at regionals, except for the time the other kid didnt show up.

that's ususally the only way i won at speech and debate. but hey, you made regionals in a sport, i can barely run down my street without getting winded.
