Beat's another friend I met in the Game. He seems like a tough guy and all, but he's really a big softy underneath (As much as he denies it, it's true!). I can see why Rhyme has her work cut out for her. Beat has this tendency of running into trouble and sometimes he goes looking for it too! He doesn't know this but I promised myself I'd watch out for him until his little sister Rhyme comes back or we go back to the RG.

I think he likes this girl named Ty Lee. Knowing Beat, it'll take him a long, long, loooooong time for him to figure it out. Oh boy.

Oh. This guy. Where do I even start? I thought he was a regular old Player like me. Joshua happened to be Neku's partner when he had to play the Game for the second time (Come to think of it, I don't even know what was Neku's entry fee for that week yet...).

I thought it was rather strange that he wouldn't even accept my offer to comfort him when he had a nightmare of drowning a few months back but now I see why. Joshua's not a regular kid. He's Shibya's Composer. And get this, he's the one responsible for sending Neku into UG in the first place.

And to think I thought he was my friend... Now I know better, don't I?

I was the one who forced Neku to be my partner in the Reapers' Game. We didn't get along in the first few days because he kept shutting me out, preferring to listen to the music that blares into his headphones. After an incident where a Reaper tricked Neku into almost erasing me (GAH. Thank goodness for Mr. H!), he started to open up to me more and we were becoming friends.

When that week was over and we beat the Game Master, I was the only one who earned enough points to go back to the RG. As much as I wanted to stay and help him, I couldn't. I promised to wait for him at the Statue of Hachiko until he comes back from the UG. But instead of being sent back to the real version of Shibuya, I ended up in this place. It was scary at first but since I had him and my other friends here, I thought I'll be okay.

But right now, I'm not even sure if he trusts me as much I trusted him. Now, he's back in Shibuya. I guess I should be happy he was able to leave this place.

Unfortunately, I just came out of the shower when I first met Naoya and his cousin Kiyoshi while I was still crashing at Neku and Joshua's apartment. I didn't say anything then but I have a feeling he had something to do with the spiked soda that got us drunk during that one game of Dai Hin Min. I don't know what this guy's problem is but he totally has a gigantic stick stuck up in his butt. I can't even believe he and Kiyoshi are related! He looks like he's really close to Joshua, though. Huh. You know what they say about birds of the same feather...

Riku's dream was the first one I have ever seen here in Somarium. After talking on the Dreamberries for a while, we became friends. I started to feel really weird around him after we went through one speed date session at the tavern last Valentine's Day. It didn't quite help that he was flustering me with his teasing though... But I did start to like him (A lot, in fact.) which lead me into telling him that I wasn't in my real body because of how the Game worked. I'm just really glad he believed me. We've been through a lot together these past three months and I wouldn't trade the time I've spent with him for anything.

He's my boyfriend now and I couldn't be happier. I love him so much. I hope we make it. He's gone. I'll always remember him. Always.
