I guess... something bad happened? [Must've had something to do with that trippy dream. He recognized that Neku kid, but not the other person.]

... *She can relate to that feeling really. After a soft sigh, she speaks.*

[Shiki doesn't really trust herself to speak right now so have a nod Alice. The letter in her hands has become crumpled, most of the ink is probably smudged by her tears.]

[Beat hadn't known the whole story of what had happened between Shiki and Neku after he had left them to join the Reapers. He was going to comment about that until he saw that the person with Shiki had no longer been Neku. Instead it was Riku. He let out a annoyed grunt as he makes the call to his friend.]

Dammit. Don't tell me it happened again, yo.

[The call connects to Shiki looking like she had been crying for quite some time now.]

B-Beat... [Hiccups and sniffles. Not really trusting herself to say more, Shiki merely nods at her friend's question.]

[If there's one thing Beat didn't like (or exactly know) to handle, it was a crying girl. He's done this once before right? ...How'd he do that again.]

What gives? First he comes back an' he's gone jus' like that? I'm sick a' this place's stupid rules, yo!

It hurts. [Sniffles and trying to wipe the tears staining her cheeks.] It really hurts. [Beat can see Shiki clutching her chest as if she was in a great deal of pain.]

[Rise's quick enough to get what was going on. Even if she's learned to cope with the same people leaving more than once, Shiki's case was entirely different.]

Shiki... At least he left something for you. [It's more than anything she's ever gotten anyway.]

He did, but... [She sighs.] I just, I only want him.

[That was the truth, but it suddenly made Shiki feel really guilty. Of course all of them wanted to go home.]

That sounds really selfish, huh?

[Rise shakes her head as she carefully held onto the Dreamberry in her hands.]

No, it's not, Shiki. Of course you want him back but... [She wasn't sure how to continue. Because Somarium just liked doing things like that? At least he was safe from the insanity of the dream world? There was a plethora of reasons she could give her friend but she knew that the ease it would give would only be temporary.

Instead, she goes with what she had said in the past.] I'm sure he wouldn't like to see you sad because of him.

[What Rise said did comfort her. But one thing still stands.]

I think I'm going to be sad for a while, though...
