In this evening's workout, for warmup,  we had to do exercises that correlated with the amount of calories you would have to burn for one fun-size candy bar. So we'd grab a square of paper that said "Baby Ruth, 240 jumping jacks" or whatever and you and your partner would have to split the exercise together before grabbing another ( Read more... )

I'm kind of against translating food portions into workout portions. I think it can be very good to keep track of your calories overall, but I find that correlating them with every food item makes people entirely too obsessive. Keeping track of your calories overall tends to make you aware enough without also making you freak out over every little thing you put in your mouth.

Scones with lemon curd and whipped cream?? Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
