I love bridges like that because they remind me of the old bridge in Washougal, which would plunge you into the filtered green light of the Washougal River forest. Next time I come visit you I would love to see the bridge and the wildlife refuge.

So typical that masses of people would be running around cluttering up your happy place. X( Jeremy is always making fun of me for supposedly hating people. But I don't hate people, just noisy, oblivious groups of them. You know what else I dislike is the fad of people holding up chalkboards and signs to show what major event their kid is going through. I think it's just because it's so reflective of today's helicopter parenting and the Pinterest culture; otherwise I would probably think it's a good idea. Also, I should probably feel bad for saying that since lots of people I like do it, but. I just don't and I can't help it.

So cute about Will and the snail! It makes me happy when kids find nature interesting.

Pinterest has totally made me suspicious of all ideas. I saw several halloween costumes on my facebook feed where I was like, oh, that's clever! Followed by a waiiiiiit a minute, I bet they just got that from pinterest!! X( GRRRR dumb pinterest.
