What in the fuck is wrong with our weather? Snowstorm that gets everyone stuck 2 months ago. Giant windstorm thingy that makes everyone think they might not have power for Christmas, even though it takes nearly a week for us to get power back. Another snowstorm that brings more snow for nearly a week this month, and possible projections for ANOTHER

Keep in mind you haven't too much longer and Matt might be offering you to come back? My contract ends April 9th and we'll have to get you in there before that to get vamped up! Besides, I think if you take 100 days now, you will be able to reset your contract and have a year from March/April.

I had fun playing in the snow-- it took bloody long enough to be the kind you could do something with. And it started a snowman, ended up a snowDa.

I kinda hope he offers, cause that'd sure be nice. Especially since a friend is talking about coming up here in the summer, and if she comes up not long after I finish that? I'd be able to have time to devote to her, which would be absolutely FAB. There's so many things I want to take her to and show her...

Dunno about the whole contract resetting, but I should be just barely under the edge for the one year thing. We'll see.

My sheep won't be little for long, that's for sure. But hopefully she'll be good tempered and they'll keep her around. And maybe she'll know who she's nameed for and talk to me like her parents do while I'm there. :-)

And poor Biju. She just sorta does things like that-- we call her the lunkhead.

I SERSIOUSLY want to play with your baby sheep! It's SO adorable!!!! But I guess I'll stick with the new baby bunny my roomie got for her 2nd grade class. It's SO cute. It lies on it's back in your arms like a baby and lets you rub it's belly...hehehe...when she got it, I thought of you...=)

This winter is insane. You are having what would be completely normal weather for VERMONT, while we have enjoyed a winter consisting mostly of temperatures way ABOVE freezing. Bizarre. Just got our first snow that stuck and it was only 3 inches before it rained all day, and now we have what can only be called crust. Right now, it's below zero and if we are very lucky we'll see 5 degrees above today.

I wanted you to know I got my free Bourdain book!! Thanks for letting me know about that. Now I just need time to read it!

I just finally got mine. Haven't read the first one yet, and lord knows I have a pile of books that are supposed to be read. My problem? I get too wrapped up in reading and writing fic.

Yeah, our winter has been nuts. Snowstorms, long freezing period, windstorms... I could do without any more of it for a long, long time. We'll see if it lightens up enough for me to do something with the ground/garden to do planting. :-/
