stellaluna_ fixes my problems and plays cheerleader like always.
-- Motion: Flack watches as she struts away, swinging hips and confident stride and smiles cause he knows she's putting in that little extra sway just for him.
-- Cool: He always likes to try to play it cool, and his consistent failure to do so never ceases to amuse her.
-- Young: She never talks much about what it was like for her growing up at the orphanage, and he sometimes wonders if she was always the good girl or the one getting into trouble-- or maybe the good little catholic schoolgirl who sneaked away to hang out with the bad boys from the corner.
-- Last: He sinks slowly into her, every movement controlled as much as he can stand because he's wanted this so badly that he's determined to make it last because he's not sure he's ever going to get this chance again.
-- Wrong: He can't help but think about how wrong it is to be doing it in the lab until she gets on her knees and sucks him down-- he can't bring himself to care after that.
-- Gentle: She never realized that such big hands and long limbs could be so gentle after the damage wrought upon her by other ones of the same size.
-- One: There are days where he wonders if maybe she's the one, despite every effort they've made to keep it from getting serious.
-- Thousand: It's always said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and he wishes he had a camera so he could have seen it when she found the thousand Hershey's Kisses he secretly left all over and inside her desk.
-- King: He feels like king of the world when she straddles his lap and takes him inside her, seductive smile moving closer and closer as she leans in to kiss him.
-- Learn: He relishes the slow encounters as much as the rough ones, where he has time to learn and memorize every little thing that makes her moan, squirm and laugh in pleasure, and try them out over and over until she can't handle it anymore.
-- Blur: The sharp edges of the world seem to blur slightly as she tips the wineglass to her lips and his hand slips slowly up her thigh and under her skirt.
-- Wait: "Nuh uh uh, be patient or you go back," she says as he reaches down to stroke himself after she unties one of his hands.
-- Change: "Don't ever change, Bonasera," he says, laughing as she flashes him a broad grin and leaves for the lab.
-- Command: "On your knees," she commands, and he's more than willing to comply-- licking and nibbling a slow, winding trail on the way down.
-- Hold: He can't help but clutch her tightly to him as soon as they get out of eyeshot of everyone else when he's supposed to be escorting her back to the precinct after the medics check her out.
-- Need: He doesn't know the exact point when this thing between them turned from want to need.
-- Vision: All he can manage is to nod in response when she asks him if he's alright as she tightens the blindfold around his head and places a gentle kiss on his lips.
-- Attention: "Pay attention," she says as she puts his hand on her sex and shows him exactly what she likes.
-- Soul: He's always scoffed the idea of souls and things like that, but in the days after her incident with Frankie, he could have sworn bits of hers had dripped out with the blood from her fingertips and he desperately wished for the light in her eyes to return.
-- Picture: He blushes in embarrassment when she finds the snapshot of them from Danny's birthday celebration at Sullivan's a couple years back-- long before they even hooked up together-- that he keeps carefully propped up on his dresser, always on display.
-- Fool: He tends to play the fool a lot, a lingering habit from childhood he finds useful when dealing with suspects and witnesses at times-- he just never expected her to be the first woman he met to see right through it the blink of an eye, call him on it, and still respect him after.
-- Mad: One of the first things he learned shortly after he met her was never underestimate the evil powers of a pissed off Stella Bonasera; he still cringes thinking about it.
-- Child: He sometimes secretly wonders what their children would look like-- a girl with his blue eyes and her delicate features and curls, or maybe a boy with her sharp eyes and his long limbs-- but he'd never tell her he's dreamed of them before.
-- Now: He can't think about anything except the here and now when he's buried deep inside her as her nails scrape deep red furrows down his pale back.
-- Shadow: He pulls her into his arms and takes her to bed so that they both can dodge the ever-present shadows of the last few months.
-- Goodbye: Every morning that she sneaks back across town early to change before work, he can't bring himself to actually say goodbye.
-- Hide: He tries to hide behind the blustering and dumb cop act, but she's the first one to take notice of what's behind all rather than just tolerating his behavior, and that makes him fall even harder for her.
-- Fortune: She smirks at him as a particularly flighty witness they're talking to grabs his hand and starts reading his palm, telling him about how he'll be married soon and have multiple children; it's his turn, however, to smirk when the lady looks up not at him, but rather Stella, and says "You two will have the most beautiful children together."
-- Safe: He has to keep repeating 'She's safe' to himself over and over as they try to clear the scene and try not to get too jealous of Mac taking her back to the precinct, even though he knows Mac will treat her just as well as he would.
-- Ghost: She straddles him and crawls backward slowly, letting her curls trace slowly down his torso; it leaves this strange ephemeral tickle and he can't decide if he wants it to stop or continue forever.
-- Book: He ducks swiftly as a well-read paperback flies by his head and then tries to approach her cautiously, hands spread in silent apology for whatever he's done wrong this time.
-- Eye: He cracks one eye open, barely awake, and finds her happily staring at him from the other pillow.
-- Never: He wonders sometimes how deep exactly the scars are that Frankie left behind-- and fears that he'll never see the Stella he loved so much that was there before.
-- Sing: He smiles as he lazes comfortably in bed and hears a few lines of some song he's never heard come drifting in from the shower.
-- Sudden: As she curls back up against him instead of trying to gather her clothes to leave, it suddenly hits him that he can't tell himself anymore that it's just sex between them; if he's being really honest, it never really was that simple.
-- Stop: "Don't stop," he gasps, hand tightening spastically in her curls as she sucks hard.
-- Time: Time slows down when she takes him into her, stretching and distorting into an exquisite moment until she squeezes tight around him and it snaps back like a rubberband, flinging him into spikes of almost painful pleasure.
-- Wash: His hand slips over the smooth curve of her ass, fingers spread and mapping the networked trails of water cascading down her back.
-- Torn: He watches her struggle just to function after everything happens with Frankie and is torn between wanting to never let her out of his sight again and doing the right thing of letting her find her feet again on her own.
-- History: He sits alone on his couch, trying desperately not to cry-- because real men don't cry, his father always said-- because maybe this time, the end really is the end.
-- Power: He never understood what it ment to give someone else full power over him until she tied him spread-eagle to the bed and hovered over him with a mischievous grin.
-- Bother: He smiles as she keeps swatting his fingers away as he slowly walks them up her thigh while she's trying to concentrate on the article in front of her.
-- God: He was raised to believe in a benevolent God, but he's not so sure one could exist when everything can go from good to like she's tearing his guts out in long glistening strings like the bomb blast did in a split-second.
-- Wall: The wall is practically holding the both of them up as he thrusts roughly into her and she bites and licks his neck-- neither of them having wasted any time by taking any more clothes off than strictly necessary.
-- Naked: In bed, in the shower, anywhere-- he swears he'll never get tired of the sight of her naked and waiting for him-- and he doesn't want to ever lose the twisting excitement in his gut when she looks at him, slightly self-conscious, to forever grasp that exquisite moment in time when her body and soul are both naked to him.
-- Drive: "My turn to drive," she declares as she snatches the keys from his pocket; when he loses the ensuing argument, he surreptitiously clutches the door handle white-knuckle tight as she rockets the cruiser into downtown traffic.
-- Harm: He finds that his desire to protect her from absolutely everything is doing them both more harm than good.
-- Precious: After all the chaos begins to clear, he finds her dirty and a bit worse for wear but generally okay; appearances and her annoyance be damned, he clutches her tightly to him and kisses her forehead gently as the tension drains out of her.
-- Hunger: He watches her flirt with and dismiss men at the bar while she waits for him, and it makes the knot in his stomach burn tighter, desperate to take her home right then.
-- Believe: He wants to be the one to hold her, to make her believe in love and that big hands won't always cause her such damage.
