Identical weary expressions on their faces, the Sorcerer and the Child-Bride walk up to the door. He knocks briefly, and they exchange a look of shared amusement, smiling that they do not cry, and lean against the doorway in identical gestures of exhaustion, one on either side.

Lex makes the I-can-hide face, but the first step Gina takes is to call out, "Who is it?"

After all, there's a limited number of people who could get past the doorman who wouldn't just come in through the balcony doors.
