Lady give me your money. I'm driving out there this weekend. Actually, nah over 1,000 Katrina refugees are being shipped out to Philly--I will forward you an email about it.

I happen to be leaving this very weekend for the disaster outskirts (check my myspace posts), I'm sort of scared shitless but my driver is cool as a cucumber and in touch with locals and the governor so I guess fuck it.

However I am looking to latch onto groups to be able to stay and my family is starting a sponsorship for me to stay out as long as need be. Our idea is to just get me some PayPal to send home to my roommate (who is actually from N.O.) for my house and cats and I suppose for me to buy water.

I have no clue and will stay in touch up until departure.

Oh btw the only thing Red Cross and the like are accepting outside of cash is WATER---donations for WATER----see what you can do. Disease is spreading there. They only want water outside of money. LATER is when they will be calling upon physical items although we are transporting fuel and what not.
