Autumn garden update!

So it's been a month since I posted photos on Flickr for my garden. When last I left off I was suffering some losses and things were looking scraggly. I had a combination of heat stress, some fungus, and a friend noticed my plants would benefit from nutrition. All the rain basically washed out the nutrients in the soil. But the really big horror

I googled the horrible worms after you mentioned them on fb and yes I did think they looked pretty terrifying. :( hope there won't be any more!

Heeee. Oh they creeped into my dreams. And I scrutinize the plants with fear and anticipation. I know intellectually that I am bigger than they are and can dispatch them. But the visceral feeling of dread and ... ugh ... Yeah, terrifying.

Ha! Thanks. Never underestimate my powers of google-fu. When I see a problem, I look it up! I learned last year that if you ignore something odd in your garden, by the time you address it it will be too late.
