A time I can remember
TEN YEARS AGO I WAS:
10 years old, in the 5th grade at Chalkville Elementary School. And the only stress I experienced was getting the first B of my life. I was in the choir and my friend Jennifer and I sang a Mary-Kate & Ashley song for the school talant show. My Dad got remarried (the first time). I got my first "real" bike. My best friends were Wayne and Amanda, who lived one street over. In the fall I started middle school and I was scared to death. I did my first play ,The Reform of Benjamin Scrimp, and I played a delivery girl who wouldn't give the kids their Christmas decorations because they couldn't pay me.
FIVE YEARS AGO I WAS:
15 years old. It was my sophomore year of high school and I thought it would last forever. The theatre department was wrapping Our Town, my first play at the high school with a speaking part! I had a crush on (.....). I went to Brewster Road Alliance Church, where Jackie, Joanna Henning, and I were cohorts in crime. All my friends had boyfriends. I didn't wear makeup yet, my hair was short, and my favorite place to shop was the Thrift Store.
YESTERDAY I:
Didn't go to my math class. Took really good notes in Music History. Almost fell asleep in Vocal Ped. Heard a rumor. Went to choir. Played on Facebook and Livejournal. Went to work and realized how glad I am to be getting a new job. Came back to the dorm and watched the Lip Jam video. Played on Facebook and Livejournal some more. Watched the first disc of Friends Season 3. Talked to Drew. Actually got in bed before 1am.
