We had to put Shadow to sleep last week. She was really sick and she'd been arthritic for years. It was inevitable... Still. Our cats really are going almost in the order that we got them. I mean, we did get Magic and Shadow at the same time, and Magic is still alive, but I think we're going to take her in next week to be put to sleep. She's not

Really? That came about rather suddenly. I didn't even know Shadow had any problems. And yet, Magic will still pull through and live for several more years...or not? I don't know.

How did you manage to not get out of Jury Duty? Wait...summer time. Darn it!

I don't know about Magic, either. She has good and bad days. Sometimes it seems like she'll live for another year or more, and sometimes it seems like she'll die the next day. It's hard to tell.

But yeah, jury duty. I already got out of it during spring semester earlier this year because of school; I was told I couldn't get out of it again no matter what excuse I had, which made sense. And besides, what better time for it than summer? =)
