I caught a really big stupid on a political ad out of Missouri this morning. The fact that I was able to do it at 6 in the morning before coffee shows you just how stupid it was

Bulshting is a politishian's must there is nothing new about it but I must admit that I can't stand how much idiots they are taking us for... PS On your previous entries you were woried that that you are aburden in your familly :( I really don't think that is the case no money on the world can compare with the presence of a beloved wife and mother. I truly believe it and most of the time can't stand my mother...
This is what's hilarious about all this flailing about so-called "Obamacare". It's a gift the insurance companies. They get more customers. They get more sick customers which they don't like, but it's more customers regardless. The downside for the insurance companies is that they can't crap on people nearly as much as they could before. Health care reform isn't perfect, but it's a good start, IMO

Cynatnite, I agree with you about the race issue. And yeah, Gina, that's one of my pet peeves when people start screaming how "we don't need government run health care" because they just don't realize, we already have it. Medicare sets the reimbursement rates for every condition, diagnostic test, and treatment, period. Anyone who's even remotely involved in health care knows that. In general, nobody ever gets paid more than what Medicare would pay for it; it doesn't matter what your insurance is. And most doctors/health care providers have long since learned not to charge much beyond what Medicare will pay for that reason. In other words, Medicare (the government) is already the boss of health care.
There was an article this week in the Chicago Tribune (front page, mind you), that Brady - a candidate for governor - would veto his own bill to euthanisize animals left behind in shelters, en mass.
In other words, he proposed a bill to euthanize animals that had been left for so long and or were seriously ill, the same day (or days), rather than have to submit paperwork to a local vet, blah blah.
Um... I think we have more important shit to worry about that how many pets are being put down on a weekly basis!
