This seems so very in character for these two. I love their little prank war, especially the body parts...only Sherlock would use it to his advantage for seducing John. And of course it would work! Lovely stuff.

I could totally see Sherlock using a real hand for a soap dish... And I'd feel feel sorry for Sarah, but as a doctor, you really have to think she's seen all sorts of unpleasant things. She just doesn't expect them to turn up in the bathroom, I guess. (-:

This was great fun! I enjoyed the escalating prank war (substituting decaf for the real coffee is some sort of war crime!) and the final result. The structure is clever and works really well.

Is it bad that I now want a realistic model severed hand to use for a soap dish?

Yes. Yes it really is! In our house, decaf coffee counts as a crime against humanity!

As for the severed hand, the original idea came to me from a really weird hand-shaped soap that I was given as a child. WTF?? It wasn't even intended to be grisly but it was white and looked pretty dead to me... From such unlikely beginnings...
