Lovvve thisss! I adore me a good character peice and you deliver wonderfully. It's pretty much epic. As others have commented I absolutely love the allusion to theater - because, it fits so perfectly. Moriarty *loves* the drama xD

I adore your voice, he sounds...funny, amused, very whimsical. But not overplayed like some people have a habit of. He's very much amused at everything (which feels very in character) but is still scary as hell. Probably because he's so amused.

I also love the pill plot and what the entire purpose of it was.

Awww...thanks honey! Really glad you liked it, and thought that it was in character - a lovely compliment!

Terrifying amusement is so much the hallmark of Moriarty's character! As Stephen Moffat said in a Q&A, "Moriarty is the kind of guy who would shoot a baby in the face and expect the mother to find it funny." I didn't go quite that far, but I'm really glad you felt it worked!

I'm so glad you posted this so I could save it properly--this was one of my three favorites. So lyrical, and the way it builds. Just fantastic!

Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed writing Moriarty's voice - he's so entertained by the most appalling things! The line about 'the way to a man's heart' was one of my favourites so I'm particularly glad you liked it - I could just imagine him reading the original aphorism and thinking, 'well that's not going to work! I want him alive and stomach wounds are a bitch to heal!' He has such a fantastically skewed way of looking at the world...

Really glad you liked it! ♥
