Okay guys, I need some advice. I am having some mother-in-law issues. My MIL has always been very supportive, but also at times invasive in our lives. I love her dearly, and she takes care of my 4 year old while I'm at work. My husband and I arranged for him to drop her off each day while I pick her up at night. Have hubby talk to her about it instead of you. Have him mention gas prices. Have him bring up her granddaughter's well-being. Mention several times how glad you are that your daughter gets to really spend time with her gramma.

Thanks for the advice Zambi! Hubby spoke to his mom, and brought up the fact that by picking up his brother, I'm saving her 40+ miles per day in travel. He even calculated how much money she was saving by having me get his brother, and that the short trip to meet me simply meant that I was better able (and more willing) to help her out. We're trying it for the nexy two weeks to see how it goes. Thank you again!
