I only learned after I had posted, that it could be a joke. But Freema Agyeman was going to join Torchwood, until she got a better job offer on a different show. So, one can dream! ;)

There's some series on BBC-America that Patrick Stewart played in... they're doing a marathon next week on BBC-A and if I don't have 2200 things to do I'll try to catch a few episodes. I'm seriously in Patrick Stewart withdrawal.

Back in the 80s, there was a Doctor Who roleplaying game from FASA, in which they "decided" that the Meddling Monk later turned more evil and became the Master. I never quite liked that interpretation.

BTW, Stewart also really, really wants to play Spider Jerusalem in the movie version of Transmetropolitan. Last I heard, it had been optioned but not greenlighted.
