Yes, hospitals are high-risk germ pits, and you want to avoid them if possible. So that advice was, alas, valid.
Oh dear. Hospital. This could get pricey. I wish I'd gotten you that Medigap information before now. Kick me about that, please.
Cellulitis? It's very common in older folks, and tends to reoccur. It requires diligence & presence of mind to catch it early and treat it. My Dad came down with it on his scrotum and didn't have the presence of mind to say anything until it was severe!
This all sounds like major suck. My fingers are crossed for you.
To be honest I agreed with them on that point. What I should have said was it was that they really didn't know what was wrong or how to treat it and then released her.
I agree with you on both the "good advice" and the annoying/scary part of "...they couldn't really come up with what was wrong with her or a treatment plan
( ... )
Everyone has selfish thoughts. That doesn't make them bad people. Just recognize that the thought is selfish, acknowledge it as yours, accept that it's okay to have the thought, then dismiss it and move on.
Only good people worry about whether they're bad.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the best possible outcome to all this, whatever that may be.
