I think they are referring to ones soul. It is interesting that they call it a Windhorse, and shows how important the horse still is to them even today.

LOL!! I see how you could have thought that. Though I'm not sure the Mongol's know who Amy Winehouse is...though they do have TV and Radio. However, some people may want a winehouse as their deepest being....

that's weird, i have a song called "Windhorse" by bill douglas...i think it's irish...or irish-y sounding ^_^'

Not surprising really if you think about it. The Irish love horses too. If memory serves one their goddess' Epona, was a horse goddess. ^_^
