.5 credits !!!!!!!!!!! and just found this out today. because i lost credits by retaking a class without getting authorization first. what the fucking fuck??

THIS SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME IN GRAD SCHOOL (well, it was an unexpected 1.5 credits to be exact) Though it sucks that you actually *took* a class that you're not getting credit for, argh.

Well, I'm in the process of trying to get some of my transfer credits from my grande tour of new york colleges applied, even though they were initially turned down (for reasons I don't fully understand, considering one of them was a journalism class at Columbia taught by someone who writes for the New York TImes etc.) , but maybe since it's .5 credits, they'll re-evaluate?

Yeah I have an option to set up an independent study with a professor but it has to be a full time professor (who generally aren't around in the summer) and it's too late in the semester now, so if this doesn't work, I have to do that over the summer and not get my degree until September, even though I can still attend June commencement apparently? It might be easier to just take a summer course. But I'm really hoping they approve my damn credits!
