20 - Do you ever get bunnies from other people's stories or art in the same fandom?
I’d better, right? Considering the shared universes that I play in. If we didn’t get ideas off of each other, there wouldn’t be much going on at all. But aside from that - yes. I definitely get ideas from other people’s stories. Those are some of those pesky bunnies that I try to ignore. Again, that lack of time thing. I just can’t tackle every side-bunny that hops up and wiggles it’s nose at me. I just can’t. I too, limit who and what I read now. Partly because of time and partly because of the bunny factor. Seems to be a theme for this question.
I don’t usually get story ideas from art. I may gaze at a work to help encourage a bunny I already have or borrow it to use as an illustration. But they don’t typically spark new bunnies for me. I do make illustrations for some things through my Sims game. But even then, I’m almost always trying to match what I’ve written and not writing to match whatever I caught in my screen cap.
21 - Sequels - Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?
