aaahhh, I don't even know how to respond to these glorious glorious words, but needless to say the smile on my face is PRETTY BIG RIGHT NOW. ♥ ♥ ♥
I think what I like best about this isss thaaat you said I wrote their friendship so well, because I think everyone knows by this point just how much I adore them and their relationship. I JUST WANT TO GET IT RIGHT. That's all I want out of life.

LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW HARD TEAL'C IS TO WRITE FOR. I don't think I've ever found anything so challenging, just in terms of structure and logistics. It drove me absolutely insane and Kristen had to talk me down from a lot of ledges. The whole time I was like, "uh, I wish this was happening from someone else's perspective because THIS IS SO HARD." But... then it wouldn't be what it is, so.

Okay. I knew it was going to be perfect from the outset, but as soon as Jack O'Neill said Isn’t that a little redundant?, all my suspicions were confirmed.
I just. Your Teal'c. And Sam. And everything. So many feelings, but they are all good feelings. I'm sorry/I am not. That is something I will never get over ever. And the description of Teal'c running around the tree. I couldn't even. Why are you so perfect?
Okay, I can't even pick the things I liked best because the whole thing is the thing I liked best. So. Yes. But really, and in all seriousness, this was fantastic and thank you so much for sharing it and being amazing and I am running out of words to express the amazingness of this. ♥ ♥ ♥

I am just over the moon with how many people are digging this, because it's something that I thought of at the last minute after really struggling with where to go with that part. And I feel like I didn't really think of it; I was in that bizarre pseudo-conscious place where the characters are just kind of saying things all by themselves and you're just along for the ride. You know what I mean? I've seen plenty of other people talk about this so I'm going to stand by it under the assumption that it's not totally weird.
Thank you, darling, for this fabulous comment. You're amazing. ♥

Boy am I glad you took that jump and hung in there through the derpy episodes because I want to ride this rainbow of friendship and dreams with you forever. You know there was a time before SG-1 where I was eeeveer-so-slightly intimidated by you? You were just this enigma I thought I'd never have any hope of cracking. BUT SURPRISE. All it took was a moe little face to unite us.
And if you didn't have Stargate it wouldn't have ever even occurred to me to write sacred trees, so yikes. Yikes.
DID YOU ALSO KNOW, okay. The title is amazeballs in about three different ways. Did you know about the anatomy kind of arbor vitae? It is white matter of the cerebellum that, get this, is responsible for bringing SENSORY AND MOTOR INFORMATION TO/FROM THE CEREBELLUM. ARE YOU EVEN KIDDING ME, WORLD OF MEDICAL SCIENCE. Kristen was all, "Whoever named that cerebellum thing knew you would write this one day. THEY ( ... )
