Jonas and Vala have so much in common. I love the way Vala pulls him out of his self pity. She does it with such finesse. When Jonas asks how he became this person, Vala's answer it perfect.

I've happily devoured every bit of Jonas and Vala fic I could find, but I've never quite seen this take before and wow, what a lovely treat! I'm really glad it came together in the end.

gahhh, I would love some links to Jonas and Vala fic, if any of them in particular stood out to you. I myself have found a grand total of zero. Maybe I overlooked something totally obvious?

There's My Eyes on the Lights, My Hand on her Shoulder by NeoVenus22 and Aggravated Destruction of Property by Kalquessa hits pretty much every note just right. (If you only read one of the two, make it this one!)

Ugh you are great, did you know that? YOU EVEN PUT IN VALA/ALL MY CHILDREN, MY BEST SHIP. Other favorite thing: "You and Daniel have a lot in common."

Maybe you could just write like a hundred more things about Vala being hilarious and also having feelings. Maybe that.
