I have not had a lot to say lately. Actually, that is not quite true. I have lots on my mind, but I have not been drawn to post here often - or anywhere else online for that matter. In a number of way I have been very internet-antisocial for the past several months. I am starting to post a small amount on a raw food forum, but that is only because ( Read more... )

It's going pretty well! I have had a few days when I am not 100%, still high up there though (for instance I had a handful of Triscuits today). And occasionally I indulge in some raw fish. When I cheat it definitely show up in my face asap (pimples) though I think the raw fish has not affected me badly. I've been planning to track my diet and workout but I'll admit I haven't been so on point with that just yet. Still, for the most part I am extremely pleased. We had an 85% raw Thanksgiving that everyone loved, and the energy I get from say green smoothies is amazing. Plus I just LOVE most of my food - from my huge lunch salads to my green smoothies to my mango salad to my YUM guacamole. My weight is not as low as it had been in week 4, but it has stayed down about 6 pounds. I am looking forward to seeing what happens when I start working out!

*hugs back* Tough times you go through. le sigh

I did make some raw flax crackers (using my oven, kept open - alas no dehydrator as yet) that were quite scrupmtious. I mainly want to track what I am eating so that if I have a bad reaction the next day I don't have to rely on my fuzzy memory to recall if the last time I broke out I also ate X. For instance, I am fairly certina that I don't tolerate cashews that well, but there is a possibility it could be something else, as mainly when I have them is at a raw gourmet place.

Besides, I am an excel geek. :-)
