Sorority girls!

Ok, no matter how hard I try, I DON'T LIKE sorority girls!!! It seems like everytime I run into one (this happens often 'cause I live in a res hall full of them), I end up liking them less (happened again today, btw). In almost a year and a half, I've only found one sorority girl I like. The rest I could simply do without. Sadly enough, I still ( Read more... )

I TOTALLY agree with you. As a stereotype it seems that these people are mostly materialistic. I don't get it sometimes, are they trying to find identity, significance, importance? I wonder if sorority girls act really ditsy and well... really dumb, because their money or looks make up for it. Anyways, we still have to love them like God wants us too. Ah! I got a great idea, I think I'll just videotape these people and make a documentary about how uncool they are. Then I'll show them and say, "See! Not so cool anymore is it?!" haha n/m. My heart breaks for them.

You're so right. I kept telling myself that yesterday, but totally didn't want to, ya know? Regardless, they're still people, and I should love them... maybe by the time I graduate, I'll find 2 sorority girls I like!

How is that a flashback? How often do you come in contact with sorority girls anyways? Or do I even want to know? At any rate, I'm not annoyed at them anymore... now I'm just tolerant again. Lol.

I can see your point, and thanks for clerifying. Was the girl in your computer class the one that was like, 21? And she didn't know you were 17? ;) Uh, how is she in a sorority at Clark? They don't have sororities at Clark... and I believe you have to be in residence at the university to be in one. But that's awesome that she talked about philosophy! That's not an easy topic to discuss... although I think Freud was a psychologist, not a philosopher, but he may have had influences in philosophy as well. Ever read Descartes? I really think you'd like him, Nick, he's got a lot of cool (depressed, 'cause all philosophers are depressing, but cool) thoughts on ethics and God and life in general. You should read him. As for materialism, yea, I'm definitely materialistic. As hard as I try not to be, it's almost inevitable. But I think there are different levels of materialism? And what kind of materialism you're seeking? I don't know, more thoughts? Love ya, Nikki!

I know that Freud is a psychologist. I was not reffering to him when i was tlaking about phylosophy. It was just another stab at showing sorority girls are smarter then they appear sometimes. And Yes, i questioned about the sorority too. She was also going to WSU and for some reason something happened and she go in before moving to Pullman. So, yeah, don't know. Anyway, She was cool! If you see her around (rachel Green) Then say hi to her. She is a cool and nice perosn!
