The problem with being a feminist is, when you do research to back up your very good claim that the Conservative government is a sexist pig, it gets you so angry. Not because it's a stereotype, but because any right-thinking, rational person with a half-decent brain and good understanding of the concepts of "rights" and "equality" would be - angry ( Read more... )

Sadly, I think you do. According to Canada Post, it sounds like the government free mail only applies if you send it to a House of Commons address (in this case). Government offices aren't covered. I'm not sure about the PMO.

Should we send to Status of Women, or Josée Verner's MP office?

Pages on Queen West tends to have jokey or pithy ones; I think I got my "I'm not a feminist but ..." postcard there.

Or you can print one out at The Women Are Angry, or print an image on a label and stick it to a regular postcard. I especially liked the "Harper owes me 29 cents" one.
