Adorable! I loved it, although it seems a little far-fetched that Rose would ask him to massage her while she's half-naked.

My favorites lines were these: “I think it would be beneficial for us to be allies. We’re both smart and we’re both from powerful families. But most importantly, we’re both good at Quidditch. It’s only logical to be allies instead of rivals.”

“Good grief, Malfoy!” She lowered her voice and gave you a teasing cock of an eyebrow, “is there a war going on that I should know of?”

The massage scene is actually Rose's half-baked attempt at seduction. :)

And I enjoyed writing the scene where Scorpius proposes an "alliance." The banter just came naturally!

And of course, my beta duol2fic kept poking me in the right direction when she edited the dialogues.

very well done. I enjoyed the Scorpious perspective and the playfulness and just the right amount of angst for a one shot.

very sweet. almost Ron-like or the thoughts one imagined for from Ron during Ron & Hermione's first kiss.

I think what I like about R/S is the possibility that a new generation has begun to move on and break the old patterns. That the feuds of the past may be over juts as the war finally is.. It has such optimism. To that end, I do enjoy that it doesnt get too Romeo and Juliet. That is what is great about QueenBs Now or Never-- we see the impact of the romance not as this familial conflict but more as the stirring up of painful past memories-- it is personal not political.

There's just something about the first kiss between best mates. It's never happened to me, but I'm imagining that it would feel like fireworks, and coming home after a long journey, all at the same time. *sighs*

Shannon is magnificent that she has avoided the trap of making this Romeo and Juliet-ish. I was actually expecting the story to unfold that way, the Weasleys vs the Malfoys and the lovers in between. But I was pleasantly surprised at how Now or Never is treading the gray area of the personal battle in the context of the bitter past
