That was sweet and sad and Neville was great as was Hannah. I like how they're very slowly coming together. Hannah's comments about her mum and Tom were so perfectly achy.

Glad you liked it! I was wibbly about writing both characters because I've never written either before. But when the alternative is Ron and Luna, I can pretty much do anything!

Also, I couldn't find a way to keep this a drabble. So I spent half my afternoon writing this instead. Thanks for the great prompt!

I love your Neville's internal dialog. And I really like how you've explored Hannah in terms of real life as a grown up wizard, when the childhood dreams turn out to be just that, and life's journey takes you to unexpected places.

I'm really happy that you liked how I wrote both characters. It was a challenge for me because I've never written them both. What I wanted to do was clear, however, show them in a different light. Still canon, but with a new perspective. :) Thanks for reading!

Oh this was awesome and so cute and JUST what I needed! I know Shannon and i are pretty solid Neville/Lavender shippers, but I also swing toward the Neville/any-female-but-preferably-me ship. :P

That being said, I especially love the bit about plain and nice boys being secret perverts. I definitely relate to that--since I'm kind of small and generally innocent in practice, I can say the crudest things and people won't take it all that serioualy. It's great!
